English Art Deco Cellarette of Burl Walnut with
Fabulous Veneer Patterns & Triple Mechanism, Circa 1930’s…

This sensational cocktail cabinet features gorgeous European bookmatched crown-cut & burl walnut veneers over mahogany and a cedar backing & bottom.  Note how the veneers flow from the top of the cabinet in a seamless manner and cascade down in continuous & intriguing patterns…  Incredible artisanship!  ( What strange images do you see within these veneers? )  When the mirrored drop-down door is lowered, the top pops-up, the bar service moves forward and the original light fixture which has been rewired for American circuit automatically illuminates.  (Note the spectacular Art Deco inspired brass pull on the door.)  The bar service is swathed in golden sycamore, includes the original reverse-painted mirrors with a stylized bar scene on the back, stripes on the bottom, and the original chrome juicer & six multi-colored bakelite martini picks attached to the pop-up panel.  The bottom storage area is lined in rich ribbon mahogany, has ample room for plenty of bottles & barware, includes a wide center shelf and can be locked with the original barrel key.
