This
spectacular refinished cabinet is crafted of fabulous European bookmatched crown-cut & quilted walnut veneers over rich
mahogany and includes a cedar backing & bottom. When the mirrored drop-down door is lowered via a Deco inspired
brass pull, the top pops-up and the original light fixture which has been rewired for American circuit automatically illuminates.
The bar service is lined in a beautiful ribbon mahogany, includes three original & multicolored bakelite / metal
martini picks and a stainless steel juicer attached to the pop-up panel, and features all original reverse-painted mirrors...
Gold stylized bar scenes are depicted on the drop-down door & back mirrors ( shaker / martini glasses with
olives / stars & starbursts / bottles / ice bucket ), and the bottom mirror features gold diamond patterns
within a rectangle. The bottom storage compartment is lined in the same rich ribbon mahogany, includes
a wooden center shelf and provides ample room for plenty of bottles & barware. This spacious compartment is accessed
via double doors with beautiful sweeping curves and brass pulls identical to that on the upper door. ( Note: No lock was ever installed. )
