This stunning Cellarette is crafted of beautiful European book-matched burl, quilted & crown-cut walnut veneers over rich mahogany and includes a cedar backing & bottom. Note how the veneers flow from the top of the cabinet in a seamless manner and cascade down in continuous & intriguing patterns. Incredible artisanship! (What strange image do you see within these veneers... Perhaps a soaring eagle?) When the drop-down door is lowered via an attractive brass pull the top pops-up and the original light fixture which has been rewired for American circuit automatically illuminates. The bar service is lined in a gorgeous ribbon mahogany, features the original reverse-painted gold striped mirrors on the bottom & drop-down door and the original reverse-painted mirror on the back with a gold & red stylized bar scene (double wine flask / martini glasses / picks / stars / starbursts ). Attached to the pop-up panel are six aftermarket glass martini picks and a stainless steel juicer. Directly below the bar service is a convenient utility drawer accessed via two brass pulls for the storage of various bar accoutrement. Below this is a spacious storage compartment lined in the same ribbon mahogany and featuring five circular cutouts for liquor bottles and accessed via beautifully curved double doors with brass pulls and no locks. Note the attractive & curved base at the bottom.
