This gorgeous Cellarette is crafted of beautiful European book-matched burl, crown-cut & quilted walnut veeners over rich mahogany and includes a cedar backing & bottom. Note how the veneers flow from the top of the cabinet in a seamless manner and cascade down in continuous & intriguing patterns... Incredible artisanship! ( What images do you see within these veneers? ) When the drop-down door is lowered via a beautiful decorative Deco inspired brass pull the top pops-up and the original light fixture which has been rewired for American circuit automatically illuminates. The bar service is lined in a gorgeous ribbon mahogany and features the original reverse-painted gold striped mirror on the bottom, a clear mirror on the drop-down door and the original reverse-painted mirror on the back with a gold stylized bar scene (martini glasses / shaker / picks / bubbles / stars / starbursts ). Attached to the pop-up panel are six stainless steel cocktail picks and a stainless juicer. Directly below the bar service is a spacious storage compartment that's lined in the same rich ribbon mahogany and provides ample room for plenty of bottles & barware. This compartment is accessed via double doors that can be locked with the original barrel key, and attached to the back of the right door is the London manufacturer's white bakelite label stating... Rivington Products.
