Tambour Doors, Glass Display & Color Changing Side Lights, Circa 1940's & Modified...

This very different Cocktail Cabinet is crafted of beautiful two-toned European book-matched walnut veneers over rich mahogany and with a maple backing & bottom.  The top & sides of the cabinet are of light colored walnut, and the bar service is accessed via two tambour doors of dark walnut and features the original reverse-painted back mirror with a stylized bar scene (martini glasses - shaker - bubbles - stars - starbursts), an original reverse-painted & gold striped bottom mirror and the original light fixture which has been rewired for American circuit and illuminates via a push-button switch.  Directly below is a spacious glass display area that provides ample room for plenty of bottles & barware and is accessed via two sliding glass doors.  Inside are the original reverse-painted back mirror with a stylized bar scene (martini glasses - shaker - bubbles - stars - starbursts), two large glass shelves and very special aftermarket color changing side lighting that's activated via a computerized remote control.  The effect of the lights changing colors at night in a dark room is simply amazing!
