Small English Art Deco Cellarette of Crown-Cut & Quilted Walnut, Circa 1930's...

This small but sexy pop-up bar features gorgeous European bookmatched crown-cut & quilted walnut veneers over rich flame mahogany and a cedar backing & bottom.  Note how the veneers flow from the top of the cabinet in a seamless manner and cascade down in interesting patterns...  Incredible artisanship!  When the drop-down door is lowered, the top pops-up and the original light fixture which has been rewired for American circuit automatically illuminates.  The bar service is lined in flame mahogany, includes the original reverse-painted gold striped mirror on the drop-down door, the original reverse-painted mirror on the back with stylized bar scene (cocktail shakers / stars / starbursts) and a clear mirror on the bottom.  Attached to the pop-up panel are three original multicolored bakelite martini picks and the original chrome juicer.  The bottom storage compartment is lined in the same flame mahogany, includes a wooden center shelf, is accessed via two double doors with no lock and provides ample room for plenty of bottles & barware.
