This small but gorgeous pop-up bar features
beautiful European bookmatched burl & crown-cut dark walnut veneers over flame mahogany and a cedar backing & bottom.
Note how the veneers flow from the top of the cabinet in a seamless manner and cascade down the sides in continuous
& intriguing patterns... Incredible artisanship! When the drop-down door is lowered, the top pops-up and the
original light fixture which has been rewired for American circuit automatically illuminates an orange (rare) colored bulb.
The bar service is lined in rich flame mahogany, includes the original reverse-painted gold striped mirrors on the
bottom & drop-down door and a clear mirror on the back. Attached to the pop-up panel are six original red bakelite
martini picks & the original chrome juicer. The bottom storage compartment is lined in the same flame mahogany,
includes a wooden center shelf, is accessed via two double doors with no lock and provides ample room for plenty of bottles
& barware. Of special note are the spectacular brass Deco pulls utilized on all the doors!
