Sexy Curves & Triple Mechanism, Circa 1930's...
This
fabulous cabinet features spectacular European bookmatched burl & crown-cut walnut veneers over rich ribbon mahogany and
a maple backing. Note the mysterious patterns & images within these veneers... What strange creatures
do you see? The center bar service is lined in golden sycamore, includes brass railing along the middle, a gorgeous
green-tinted glass with Deco design on the drop-down door and a similar green-tinted glass panel with Deco designs along the
back. Behind the glass panel are lights that illuminate via a switch to create a soft glow throughout the bar service!
Of special note is the fantastic triple mechanism... When the drop-down door is lowered, the top panel pops-up
and the entire service moves forward! Also attached to the pop-up panel is a metal fixture with six original & multicolored
bakelite martini picks. On either side of the cabinet are two large & spacious mahogany lined storage compartments
that accommodate plenty of bottles & barware and located just under are three service drawers that are slightly staggered
in size. The top drawer is also felt-lined and easily accommodates cutlery & various bar accoutrement. Lastly,
