This
fabulous cabinet features fantastic European bookmatched crown-cut & quilted walnut veneers over flame mahogany and a
cedar backing & bottom. Note how the veneers flow from the top of the cabinet in a seamless manner and cascade down
in continuous & intriguing patterns. Incredible artisanship! (What strange images do you see within these
veneer patterns? Perhaps Harvey, the giant rabbit?) When the drop-down door is lowered, the top pops-up and
the original light fixture which has been rewired for American circuit automatically illuminates. The bar service is
lined in rich flame mahogany, includes the original reverse-painted striped mirror on the bottom and clear mirrors on the
back & drop-down door. Also, the original chrome juicer & six red bakelite martini picks are retained on the
pop-up panel. The bottom compartment is lined in the same flame mahogany, includes ample room for plenty of bottles
& barware, features a wide center shelf & four cutouts along the bottom for the storage of various shaped (square
& round) liquor bottles and the double-doors can be locked with the original barrel key. Of special note are the
Deco inspired brass pulls.
