Small English Art Deco Pop-Up Bar of Beautiful Burl & Crown-Cut Walnut, Circa 1930's...

This cute little cellarette features gorgeous European bookmatched burl & crown-cut walnut veneers over flame mahogany and a cedar backing & bottom.  Note how the veneers flow from the top of the cabinet in a seamless manner and cascade down the sides in continuous & intriguing patterns...  Incredible artisanship!  When the drop-down door is lowered, the top pops-up and the original light fixture which has been rewired for American circuit automatically illuminates.  The bar service is lined in a rich flame mahogany, includes clear mirrors on the back & drop-down door and the original reverse-painted gold striped mirror on the bottom.  Six original yellow bakelite martini picks & a polished chrome juicer are also retained on the pop-up panel.  The bottom storage compartment is lined in the same rich flame mahogany and accessed via two double-doors with no lock.  Inside is a small wooden shelf and ample room for plenty of bottles & barware.  Note the spectacular brass Deco pulls utilized on all the doors!
