This gorgeous tiered cabinet features spectacular European bookmatched crown-cut & burl walnut veneers over rich mahogany and with a cedar backing. Note how the veneers flow from the top of the cabinet in a seamless manner and cascade down in continuous & intriguing patterns... Absolutely Incredible Artisanship! ( What strange images do you see within these veneer patterns? ) The bar service is lined in a stunning flame mahogany, includes an attractive glass display shelf and clear mirrors on the back & bottom. Located directly below is a pull-out mirrored mixing tray. The back of the double doors feature small wooden shelves with brass railings for the display of cordials, the original chrome juicer and six multicolored bakelite martini picks. When the double doors are opened, the original light fixture which has been rewired for American circuit automatically illuminates. The bottom storage area is very spacious, lined in the same rich flame mahogany, includes a large center wooden shelf and features three metal clips on the back of each door for retaining various liquor or wine bottles. Note the original London manufacturer's white bakelite label... Rivington... is still prominently displayed on the back of the right door. Also, all doors can be locked with their original barrel keys.
