This fabulous French cabinet features gorgeous European bookmatched crown-cut & burl walnut veneers over rich mahogany and rests on sexy, curved Queen Ann legs. The front & sides of the cabinet also include beautiful ornate scrolling. Upon opening the double-doors (lockable with the original barrel key), the original light fixture which has been rewired for American circuit automatically illuminates and highlights a mirrored back and an interior of superb flame mahogany. The right side of the Bar features two open compartments and a small shelf with brass railing. Directly above these open compartments is a service drawer with a brass pull that's convenient for the storage of cutlery & other bar accoutrement. The left side of the Bar features a large open area for various barware & tall bottles and includes three original multicolored bakelite martini picks & a stainless steel juicer, all retained in their holders. Attached to the inside of the left door are two nice cordial shelves with brass railings, and the inside right door includes an original brass serving tray. The top of the Bar is slightly recessed & features a large 1/4" glass plate that covers the entire area and allows for the safe placement of cold beverages.
