This beautiful cocktail cabinet features gorgeous European bookmatched crown-cut & quilted walnut veneers over flame mahogony and includes a cedar backing & bottom. Note how the veneers flow from the top of the cabinet in a seamless manner and cascade down in continuous & intriguing patterns... incredible artisanship! (What strange horned creature do you see within these veneer patterns... perhaps a gazelle ?) When the striped mirrored drop-down door is lowered, the top pops-up and the original light fixture which has been rewired for American circuit automatically illuminates a special pink bulb. The bar service is swathed in rich flame mahogony, includes the original reverse-painted mirror with a stylized bar scene on the back (cocktail shakers - stars - starbursts), a clear mirror on the bottom and the original chrome juicer & three multi-colored bakelite martini picks. The bottom storage area is lined in the same rich flame mahogony, has ample room for plenty of bottles & barware and includes a wide wooden shelf.
