English Art Deco Cellarette of Burl Walnut & Short Legs, Circa 1940's...

This cool cocktail cabinet features European bookmatched crown-cut & burl walnut veneers over ribbon mahogany and a cedar backing. Note how the veneers flow from the top of the cabinet in a seamless manner and cascade down in a continuous pattern... Incredible artisanship! When the mirrored drop-down door is lowered, the top pops-up and the original light fixture which has been rewired for American circuit automatically illuminates. The bar service is lined in a rich ribbon mahogany, features clear mirrors on the back, bottom & drop-down door and includes a stainless steel juicer & six martini picks. The lower storage area is lined in the same rich ribbon mahogany, includes a wide shelf, has ample room for plenty of bottles & barware and can be locked via the original barrel key.
