with Pop-Up Feature, Circa 1930's...

This fabulous Sideboard/Bar features European bookmatched crown-cut walnut veneers over rich mahogany and a cedar backing. The bar service is lined in flame mahogany and includes a shelf & multiple cutouts for highball glasses. When the mirrored drop-down door is lowered, the top pops-up, revealing an unusual holder for martini picks and cool cutouts on the door for stemware. There are two large storage compartments on either side with ample room for plenty of bottles & barware (note the exceptional carved wooden Art Deco handles), along with two service drawers in the middle, including one that is felt-lined for cutlery storage. The original London manufacturer's label is still attached on the inside of one of the doors.
The cabinet front even appears to incorporate a 'heart' shape!
