English Art Deco Portable Envelope Bar of Stunning Burl Walnut, Circa 1930's...

This fantastic portable 'fold-open' bar features stunning European bookmatched crown-cut & burl walnut veeners over rich ribbon mahogany and folds outward to open and create a large curved serving area.  The front double-doors can each be locked with the same original barrel key and swing outward to reveal a striped mirrored bar service with a brass railing, tiered interior shelves, metal clips for holding cordial glasses, the original chrome juicer & six multi-colored bakelite martini picks, a silver serving tray, metal lined cutouts for  the storage of various liquor & wine bottles and an interior light fixture that has been rewired for American circuit and illuminates via a push-button switch.  The top is hinged and folds open to reveal a stain-free formica top that rests on two door panels that swing-out from the sides for support, and the back features two beautifully etched sliding glass doors.  The entire bar is mounted on four casters and can be moved about easily.
