Large English Art Deco Tiered Cellarette of Quarter-Sawed Oak & Beautiful Black/Gold Patterened Mirrors, Circa 1930's...

This spectacular cabinet features gorgeous European bookmatched quarter-sawed oak veneers over rich mahogany and a backing of cedar.  Note how the quarter-sawed veneers form beautiful diamond shaped patterns...  Incredible artisanship!  The top tiered bar service is lined in a rich flame mahogany and includes the original reverse-painted black glass inserts with gold stripes on the bottom & drop-down door, the original reverse-painted mirror on the back with a gold stylized bar scene (shaker - martini glasses - stars - star bursts - bubbles), and six original bakelite martini picks & a stainless steel juicer attached to the pop-up panel.  When the drop-down door is lowered via a Deco inspired brass pull, the top pops-up and the original light fixture which has been rewired for American circuit automatically illuminates.  The spacious lower storage compartment is lined in the same rich flame mahogany, is accessed via curved double doors with fantastic brass pulls and features a  center wooden shelf & five curved & circular cut-outs for retaining bottles.  ( Note:  This compartment has no locks. )
