This fabulous cabinet is crafted of gorgeous European bookmatched burl & crown-cut walnut veneers over rich mahogany and includes a cedar backing & bottom. Note how the veneers flow from the top of the cabinet in a seamless manner and cascade down in continuous & intriguing patterns... Incredible artisanship! (What strange images do you see within these veneer patterns? Perhaps a horned creature?) When the mirrored drop-down door is lowered via a Deco inspired brass pull, the top pops-up and the original light fixture which has been rewired for American circuit automatically illuminates. The bar service is lined in beautiful ribbon mahogany, includes six original bakelite / metal martini picks & a stainless steel juicer attached to the pop-up panel, features clear mirrors on the back & bottom and a gold stripped mirror on the drop-down door. The bottom storage compartment is lined in the same rich ribbon mahogany, includes a wooden center shelf, has ample room for plenty of bottles & barware and is accessed via double doors with brass Deco pulls and no lock.
